As
a non-profit broadcaster, KCMA is dependent upon two main
sources of income: Underwriters (businesses) sponsoring shows,
and donations from the listening public. Donations help us to
continue our mission, which is to remain focused on our
community and to assist other organizations in their efforts to
serve many needs. Donations are tax-deductible; KCMA is a
501(c)3 non-profit organization focused on community
involvement… and allow us to continue our work, helping many
organizations get their information out to the community.
We
at KCMA know that you will receive many requests for donations
and assistance… and we’d like for you to know what a donation to
KCMA can do for the community:
-
The staff of
KCMA annually volunteers hundreds (if not thousands) of
hours
assisting charities with events and fund-raisers, and KCMA
donated back
over $2,400 in cash directly to community projects and
non-profit
organizations in 2007.
-
At KCMA, we take
pride in giving air-time to local non-profit organizations,
allowing them to get their message out to more people more
quickly.
-
KCMA serves a
different audience than the other local radio stations,
focusing on music from the 1960s and 1970s.
-
Programming on
KCMA includes interviews Monday through Friday with
local movers and shakers, and the fun-based Trivia Challenge
each Friday.
Please help us to help others by taking the time to donate to
the Payson Classical Music Association, Inc (operator of KCMA)
by clicking on the Donate button (on the left of the main
page). Any amount would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You for Listening!
